PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Ottawa Group Psychotherapy Training Institute (OGPTI) provides advanced training in group psychotherapy in accordance with the guidelines established by the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association (CGPA).  

The Training Program provides 18 hours of didactic instruction which is part of the requirement to be a full member of CGPA.

                                 WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Members of the general mental health community may apply to attend. These OGPTI lectures will also be attended by all PGY-3 Psychiatry Residents from the University of Ottawa.

                          CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

With minimal documentation this course may be classified as a Category 4 structured learning project, which provides the identical number of credit and no maximum. Interested participants are advised to look in to their CPD package from the Royal College.
